You need to generate traffic to your website, or there is simply no way you are going to sell anything to anybody, no matter how fantastic your products may be.

One very effective technique is to write articles, and then post them to article directories and other places. Have a good and memorable domain name. Believe it or not, having a good domain name really does matter. You want something memorable and easy to spell. Just as word of mouth is important for an offline business, so it is for a website. If your domain name has an odd spelling, is too long, or uses a lot of hyphens, it will be harder for people to remember and access. People who like your site may forward it to their friends, but only if it’s simple to do. With a domain name that’s too unusual or hard to spell, there is a greater chance that mistakes will be made when someone wants to copy and send it. You really want a name that’s both easy to remember and interesting!
